To begin, open your web browser and go to http://schools.alsde.edu
and then click on the “Data Collection Contacts”
button.
I. Enter the User Name
· The User Name is the letter “L” in lowercase (“l”) and your system code.
Example: l040
II. Enter the Password
· Please see your system’s Education Directory Data Collection Contact
for the password.
III. Click the Login button
IV. Click on the link:

Data Collection Contacts for
(Your System Name).
The
data collection key contact personnel are then listed for the system. Select
the
Edit link next to the data collection contact person you would like to view
and/or
update their information. Ensure the
information is accurate and up-to-date
for
each data collection contact. Make
changes to any of the fields where necessary.
After
you have completed the updates, click on the “Submit” button located at the
bottom
of the page. When you click on the
“Submit” button, an item listing will
be
displayed that lists the original values and the current values. Any changes you
have made will appear on the listing in red, bold, and italic. Ensure these changes
are correct. Once you have verified that the information is correct, click on the
“Submit” button again. This will save all changes you have made and apply them
to the database. If
you need to make any corrections to the information, click the
“Back”
button instead of “Submit” and make any changes necessary. Then, click
on
the “Submit” button and ensure that any changes you have made which appear
in
red, bold, and italic are correct.
Finally, click on the “OK” button to save the
information.

Click on the “Logout” button
After reviewing and updating the Data
Collection Contact information and ensuring
the
information is correct, click on the “Logout” button on the left side menu.
